 The Dance of the sand Rabbit

 If you have read my first historical fiction novel, The Dark Side of Heaven, you know what awaits you as you step deeper into the past in Saint Joseph, Michigan in the 1920's. 

 The Dance of the Sand Rabbit follows a young Dorothy Hessler who, after many disappointments, finds herself living with her grandfather in the area in the town where the Sand Rabbits have settled after emigrating from Germany.

 Saint Joseph was the spot to be in the summer, with dances and music festivals that drew people from miles around. Dorothy is itching to find a husband after high school. When her grandfather allows her to drive his Model T to the dance, it sets a series of events in motion that profoundly change her life.
